NAFPR

INTRODUCTION TO NATIONAL ALLIANCE FOR PRISONER’S RIGHTS (NAFPR)
MISSION STATEMENT

Due to enormous increases in abuses, deprivations and fatalities of incarcerated men, women and youth within our prisons across the country, a coalition consisting of former prisoners, families of prisoners, advocates, activists, friends of prisoners and interested parties, is formed. The National Alliance for Prisoner’s Rights (NAFPR) in a collaborative effort to seek out and obtain resolutions to these abuses, either through domestic or international arenas. In addition, it has become obvious that the United States of America is in serious violation of its own Constitution, as well as International Treaties, Regulations and Policies concerning the rights of prisoners. The inconsistencies and lack of educational health and rehabilitative programs within the penal system, nationwide, has led to the creation of a revolving door penal system that has needlessly cost our people enormous amounts of resources. NAFPR wants to work toward obtaining resolutions to these problems using both Domestic and International Resources.
